Worship

Colossians 3:16 is the foundation for Glasgow Baptist’s Worship Ministry:

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord."

In our worship services, you will typically find us reading from the Psalms, singing new arrangements of traditional hymns and contemporary hymns along with songs of praise and worship.

We have a Praise Band that we plays each week. We also have a pipe organ that we use from time to time in worship.

Our Praise Team has a leadership role in worship and they are typically drawn from the Worship Choir.

The Worship Choir, which is open to anyone 6th grade and up, has restarted rehearsals after the July break. We rehearse on Wednesday evenings each week following the Pastor's Bible Study. The choir sings most Sundays in the choir loft. Most wear business casual and some guys wear a tie.

If you are interested in singing with us, feel free to join on Wednesdays at 7pm in the Choir Room 105, which is across from the church office. Or if you have a Music Ministry question, do not hesitate to call our Worship Pastor.
